I don't want to start second guessing what the impact will be, but obviously it's a positive.

Generally once someone takes the stand, most judges allow a wide latitude for cross-examination and certainly anything that bears on their credibility is often fair game.

He's like the J. Edgar Hoover of Hollywood. Supposedly, he's got all the dirt on everybody and, now that he's being targeted, everybody's in trouble.

Clearly (this was) an intentional execution. Not just a random act. Nothing stolen. This wasn't a burglary.

They better line up Blumenthal in case I get dumped.

Damned if I know. This is the same Melinda Raisch who, in 1982 was certain that two black men did this, then in 2001 said she didn't know who did it, and now that she's locked up and facing life in prison is apparently ready to change her mind again.

We wanted 12 intelligent people with a lot of common sense. Boy, it looks like we got what we wanted. It's an ideal jury.

My client's mindset? I don't think he's the most relaxed guy in the world coming here, but I think he's doing pretty darn well, and he's looking forward to this case finally being over.

That's the issue that's coming up now and causing a lot of problems. You don't want someone to cross the line but, if he does, we don't want to know about it.

It certainly adds an element with which the jury is going to have some difficulty.
